Koszalin (city motto:living life to its fullest) - is a city with a population of approximately 110000, located in the north-west of Poland, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is the second largest city in the Voivodeship, located on the Koszalin Fringes, on the Dzierżęcinka river, next the the Jamno and Lubiatowo lakes. Koszalin is the headquarters of the Koszalin county, as well as the provincial court.
Koszalin is an important business and cultural center, many theaters, cinemas, a concert hall, an amphitheater and many museums are located in this city. It is also the headquarters of the local media.
Koszalin is also a public transport hub, with a train and bus station. Two national roads lead straight through the city, number 6 and 11. All of this causes hotels in Koszalin to be popular among individuals traveling in business (please check our offer for business clients), or those just “coming through”.
The city area reaches as far as the southern edge of the Jamno lake (a water tram “Koszałek” connects Koszalin and Mielno in the summer), a path connecting lake Jamno to the Baltic is also under construction, which will allow direct access to the sea.
